Hey guys! My name is Taylor Dodd, and I’m a senior at the Law Magnet. I joined the Legal Pad this year because I’ve always loved writing and journalism. I enjoy educating others on little-known facts, and being part of this student-led magazine helps me articulate as a speaker and poet. I’m primarily a writer, and also a backup editor for our magazine. A fun fact about me is that I used to play the saxophone.
Hi guys! My name is Micaela Arauz, and I’m a junior at the Law Magnet! I decided to join the Legal Pad this year because I’ve always loved every video and article they have put out and I really wanted to be part of what the Legal Pad does for our Law Magnet community. I’m super excited to be able to have a creative outlet to express my ideas and opinions as a writer for the team. I’m looking forward to everyone seeing what the Legal Pad has in store for the 24-25 school year! A fun fact about me is that to get through freshman year I blasted the La La Land soundtrack on repeat every day.
Jiashuo (Moon) Liu, Magazine Team Lead
Hi everyone! My name is Jiashuo (Moon), a senior at the Law Magnet. I first joined the team at the beginning of last year because I thought it would be so cool to design covers for the magazine, but since then, I’m proud to say that my role has expanded! I am currently a co-lead of the Magazine Team alongside Sukhi, but my regular roles are writing articles, editing, and occasionally cover-designing. A fun fact about me is that I can solve up to a 6×6 Rubik’s Cube.
Hi guys! My name is Serena Herrera, a junior at the Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet. This is my first year with the Legal Pad as a graphic designer and a member of the website team! I decided to join the Legal Pad because I was a fan of the previous editions and I wanted to be apart of the behind the scenes action of designing all the articles as well as making a website possible this year. A fun fact about me is that I have 3 cats!
