- Camp out
Camping is one of the best ways to venture outside your comfort zone and explore the unknown. Camping trips are filled with bonding opportunities as participants stick together in the middle of unfamiliar surroundings, build campfires, tell somewhat spooky stories, and burn marshmallows to perfection. Although it may seem uncomfortable at first, it’s a great experience, as it allows you time away from the comfort of mundane daily life and provides a change in scenery. Take a look around and find a campsite that suits you! Who knows? A getaway in the middle of a quiet forest and a sunset-lit hike may just be the answer to your problems.
- Take a Walk Down Memory Lane
The Dallas-Fort Worth area is filled with so much history and art exhibited on the walls of the Kimbell, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and Dallas Museum of Art. This is a great way to spend an afternoon appreciating remnants of the past and learning about the history that surrounds them. It’s fascinating to see the varying styles of paintings and sculptures and how vast the variety of exhibits is.
