Hi y’all! My name is Sukhmani (Sukhi) Nijjar, and I’m a senior at the Law Magnet. I joined The Legal Pad last year because I really wanted to introduce a monthly Wordle feature. Beyond working tirelessly to pick a word that’s both challenging to guess and perfectly matches our theme, I serve as a design editor, content editor, writer, and co-lead of the Magazine team, alongside the incredibly talented Moon Liu. A fun fact about me is that my little sister (8) and I are birthday twins!
Hi guys! My name is Maya Alvarez and I’m a senior at the Law Magnet! This is my first year with the Legal Pad and I joined because I was looking for a creative outlet to share my opinions. I look forward to everything I’ll get to write about this year! A fun fact about me is that I make my own jewelry and I love going to concerts!
Hi guys! My name is Serena Herrera, a junior at the Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet. This is my first year with the Legal Pad as a graphic designer and a member of the website team! I decided to join the Legal Pad because I was a fan of the previous editions and I wanted to be apart of the behind the scenes action of designing all the articles as well as making a website possible this year. A fun fact about me is that I have 3 cats!
Hello! My name is Luciana (Micaela) Arauz and I’m a senior at the Law Magnet. This is my second year on the Legal Pad and I re-joined because I had an amazing time writing every article I wrote and filming every video I was in last year. I love serving the Legal Pad as the Magazine team lead, as well as being a writer and a graphic designer. I can’t wait to see everyone’s amazing and creative ideas materialize! Fun fact: I have an abnormally large optic nerve.
